See how your institution ranks among others by state
1. Generate Model
Let's use Sample Bank as an example to run the Ranking Model in the Dashboard
Once you click on "Generate Dashboards," an Authoring message will pop-up. This message shares our most recent troubleshooting tips. Once you have read through the message, click "Yes."
After you click "Yes," the below message will pop-up. This message lets you know that if another user requests the same Model, they would be joining as an active user in the Model. Click on "OK" to continue
2. Tab Generation
The Ranking Model will appear on your browser, and you will be taken directly into the Model.
3. Landing Page
This tab shows the name of the Model and has a forward icon to move to the next tab.
4. Navigation Pane
This tab shows you the list of navigation icons in the Dashboard and where they will take you.
5. Home Tab
This tab shows you the list of sections in the Dashboard and their summary description. You will be able to move through the contents of the Model by clicking on the forward arrows next to each Linked Guide.
6. Aggregate Balance Sheet Trend
This tab shows current and trailing seven quarter aggregate balance sheet and allows the user to see the level and trend for each balance sheet category.
7. Balance Sheet Performance
This tab shows the current and trailing seven quarter aggregate balance sheet and allows the user to see the level and trend for each balance sheet category. Quarterly and annual variances are also provided to help the user with overall portfolio trends.
8. Income Statement Trend
This tab shows you the current and trailing seven quarter aggregate income statement. The tab allows the user to see the level and trend for each income statement category.
9. Income Statement Performance
This tab shows the current and trailing seven quarter aggregate income statement and allows the user to see the level and trend for each balance sheet category. The tab also provides quarterly and PYSQ (Previous Year Same Quarter) details.
10. Concentration Historical Trend
This tab shows current and trailing seven quarter aggregate balances for loans, deposits, investments, borrowings, and funding concentrations by category. Quarterly and annual growth variances are also provided.
11. Current Scoring Results
This tab displays the state's weighted and worst score for each CAMELS+ component. Using the yellow drop-down box, the user has the ability to select between median and average scores. By default, the model is set to use median scores.
12. Detailed Scoring Report
In this tab, individual ratios for each of the CAMELS+ components are used to identify high, moderate, and low risks. FinPro Industry Thresholds have been created by FinPro's ex-regulatory staff to help identify risks in each component area. Any ratio indicating a high risk (red) has an accompanying severity score to calculate the relative importance of each individual risk. The purpose of this analysis is for users to identify the quantitative risk factors that need to be addressed.
13. Historical Risk Ratio Summary
This tab provides the state's current and trailing seven quarter ratio trend overlaid against FinPro Industry Thresholds. The purpose of this analysis is for users to identify the quantitative risk factor trends that need to be addressed.
14. Risk Ratio Comparison
This tab provides the state's current quarter ratios compared to Minnesota state-chartered institutions, FDIC region institutions, and national institutions overlaid against FinPro Industry Thresholds. The purpose of this analysis is for users to compare the quantitative risk factor results between Ranking groups.
15. Region Comparison
This tab provides national risk ratio results compared to each FDIC region's current quarter results overlaid against FinPro Industry Thresholds.
16. Comparable Analysis
This tab provides the state's current quarter risk ratios compared to up to five Ranking groups overlaid against FinPro Industry Thresholds. Using the yellow drop-down box, users can filter through all Ranking groups including states, FDIC regions, asset sizes, and state charters.

18. Institutional CAMELS Analysis
In this tab, using the yellow drop-down box, users can filter between CAMELS components to view different risk ratio results. Results will be shown for the state median as well as each individual institution. Minimum, maximum, and average calculations are shown relative to the individual institution's results.
19. Institutional Comparison
In this tab, using the yellow drop-down boxes, users can filter between CAMELS components and associated ratios. Similar to the prior tab, this allows users to view institutions that have been identified as high risk by each ratio. High risk institutions will be listed first, followed by moderate and low risk institutions. If a ratio is double banded, the user can scroll down to see the other end of the high, moderate, and low risk results.
20. Institutional Risk Summary
In this tab using the yellow drop-down box, users can select an institution to analyze Bank specific CAMELS ratio results.
